Traveller’s Palm (Ravenala madagascariensis)

The Traveller’s Palm is a dramatic tropical plant native to Madagascar and a member of the bird-of-paradise family, not a true palm despite its name. It is instantly recognizable by its striking fan-shaped arrangement of large, paddle-like leaves that emerge in a single plane, giving it a bold architectural presence.
