Thai Jasmine (Murraya Paniculata)
Thai Jasmine, scientifically known as Murraya paniculata, is a small to medium-sized evergreen shrub native to Southeast Asia. It is widely cultivated as an ornamental plant for its glossy, dark green, oval-shaped leaves and highly aromatic foliage, which emits a sweet fragrance when touched or crushed. The shrub typically grows 50–70 cm tall, making it suitable for gardens, patios, and container planting.
During summer, Thai Jasmine produces clusters of small, white, star-shaped flowers that are intensely fragrant and attract pollinators such as bees and butterflies. Beyond its ornamental value, the plant is also used in traditional medicine for its therapeutic properties.
