Red Fountain Grass, also known as Chinese Fountain Grass, is an elegant ornamental grass native to Asia. It is a clump-forming perennial that typically grows 40–60 cm tall and spreads up to 60 cm wide. The plant features narrow, soft green leaves that can reach up to 60 cm in length, arching gracefully to create a delicate, fountain-like form.

In late summer, Red Fountain Grass produces long, slender flower spikes measuring 15–20 cm in length. These fluffy, cream-colored blooms emerge from the center of the plant and persist well into fall, adding movement, texture, and seasonal interest to gardens and landscapes.
