Height

The Pomegranate Tree is a deciduous shrub or small tree from the Lythraceae family, well known for its ornamental beauty and delicious, nutrient-rich fruit. Native to the Middle East and South Asia, it is now widely cultivated across Mediterranean regions and other warm climates. While it can grow up to 5–8 meters in height, it is commonly pruned to maintain a manageable height of 1.2m to 2.5m for easier fruit harvesting.

The tree has a dense, bushy growth habit with multiple stems and branches. Its glossy, dark green, oblong leaves measure approximately 3–7 cm in length. In spring and early summer, the tree produces striking bright red or orange flowers, about 3–4 cm in diameter, which later develop into large, round fruits with a thick, leathery skin filled with juicy, ruby-red arils.
