Nerium Oleander (Nerium Oleander)
Nerium Oleander is an attractive flowering shrub belonging to the dogbane family and is widely grown for its lush foliage and colorful blooms. While mature Oleander plants can grow up to 6 m tall, the variety described here is a compact form reaching about 50–70 cm in height. The plant features dark green, leathery leaves arranged in whorls along the stems. The leaves are long and narrow, typically measuring 10–20 cm in length, giving the shrub a dense and elegant appearance.
The most striking feature of Nerium Oleander is its showy, funnel-shaped flowers, which bloom in clusters during summer and fall. The flowers measure approximately 5–7 cm in diameter and come in shades of pink, red, white, and yellow. Their pleasant fragrance attracts pollinators such as bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds, enhancing garden biodiversity.
