Height

The Drumstick Tree, scientifically known as Moringa oleifera, is a fast-growing, drought-resistant tree native to the Indian subcontinent. It is widely valued for its exceptional nutritional, medicinal, and environmental benefits. Although the tree can grow up to 10 m tall, it is commonly pruned to a manageable height of 1–2 m to allow easy harvesting of its leaves, pods, and seeds. The tree has a slender trunk with soft, drooping branches and a canopy of delicate, feathery, bright green leaves.

Moringa leaves are highly nutritious, packed with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, and are frequently used in traditional medicine to help manage inflammation, diabetes, and blood pressure. The long, slender pods—commonly called drumsticks—are widely used in Indian cuisine. Beyond its food and medicinal value, the Drumstick Tree is also known for its ability to purify water, as its seeds contain natural coagulants that help remove impurities.
